Case Studies
A teddy is for life, but that doesn’t mean it need take forever to create. Meet Fred – a fluffy little chap we conjured up for a recent O2 campaign.
All smiles: as a large window vinyl, Fred greeted O2′s High Street customers with a massive grin.
The VCCP guys came to us in a bit of a panic: they’d done a photoshoot for Fred but it hadn’t come out right at all. They had three days, and no Fred.
Having seen what we did with our pet 3D pig, Hamlet, they turned to us and we leapt into action. The background photography was already in place so we modelled, textured, rendered and retouched like fury (or like furry?) before matching the lighting between Fred and his surroundings by eye.
So lovable was Fred that VCCP came back to us again to make him into another series of three images that were used as huge window vinyls in O2 stores, phone boxes and so on, up and down the land.
