Having worked with top photographer Peter Beavis to develop the striking colour grade of his award-winning Surfers series, Wired commissioned Peter to recreate the same aesthetic for a portrait of Sir Alan Sugar.
“Wired wanted to create a similar look and feel as the surfer series that James and I had created. He gave me 4 minutes of his time — apparently 2 more minutes than David Bailey was given, so I was very pleased with that! A blink and he was gone.”

After snapping the shots, it was back to the SB studio for that distinctive colour treatment.
