Teaming up once again with top photographer Peter Beavis, we’ve been very pleased to be able to give a sumptuous colour grade to BBC2 “Wonders of the Universe” presenter Professor Brian Cox’s searching gaze.
As well as staring intently at readers from the front cover of Wired’s annual “How To” issue – in which they speak to the TV physicist on “How to Spot Bad Science” – we also translated the colour grade over to a 30-second film of Professer Cox looking straight and unflinchingly into the camera. The film is to be looped and used as the animated cover for Wired’s iPad App edition of the issue.

The article also featured interviews and portraits of top Savile Row designer Oswald Boateng and high-powered Venture Capitalist Sonali De Rycker, both treated to the same highly but subtly coloured aesthetic treatment.
