There are no clever tricks here: just a slap-in-the-face idea, piercing photography and a gritty colour grade.
Sometimes, a powerful impact is best achieved through simplicity, as shown by these hard hitting and controversial billboard posters for the Channel 4 series on “Disarming Britain”.
Working closely with award winning photographer Jim Fiscus, we developed a custom colour technique to enhance these powerful images with a gritty edge to match the grim reality of the program’s subject matter.
The two images here provoked controversy and fuelled debate across the country and online, helping drive traffic to the campaign website and blogs. The images were also used as online ads, backgrounds and avatars.
