SB is an award-winning Creative Production Agency with an international reach that produces beautiful imagery and digital solutions for Brands and advertising agencies.
We were the original pioneers of digital retouching in 1991, and one of the very first post production studios to fully harness the potential of CGI and develop in-house capability. Today, we continue to innovate and stretch creative and technical boundaries, with fully integrated production that encompasses everything from CGI, motion and VFX to shoot production and VR.
We are currently looking to hire a number of CG Artists/Generalists with experience in working on large scale data sets due to an increase in automotive projects and opportunities at Saddington Baynes
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside Senior lead Artists on projects, working directly with Clients and Photographers to realise their vision and that of the SB Creative Directors.
Accountable for quality and accuracy of all SB data sets.
Work with producers to document project specifics, work flow set-ups and configurations for all project assets.
Project estimating & pitch collaboration with project stakeholders, contributing to work plans to outline timings, technical requirements and project logistics with the aim of maximising the quality of deliverables and potential profit margins.
Be accountable for quality control and the creative execution within set deadlines, of the projects I am involved in.
Assist in task assignment, I would work positively towards team motivation and cohesion.
Identify tools, software, hardware and efficiency workflows for cg processes, and for retouching / compositing integration, adding value and quality to work produced.
Develop creative techniques and confidently directing the ‘look’ of projects.
Support onset productions for location and studio photography liaising with the art director, photographer, support team and client. Provide feedback on asset measurement and capture.
Participate in client interactions representing production for project scoping, creative reviews and project debriefings.
Required Skills
2 years+ proven experience working within a CG Production team in a multi-disciplinary fast moving company.
Proven track record in delivering high-quality data sets for stills and animations
Full knowledge of CAD data formats, experience of CAD data processing
NURBS or polygon modelling experience, able to create High quality Models for soft furnishings and UV unwrap surfaces
High level of experience using, Maya or Max and able to refine models in Z brush
Extensive understanding of shaders and ability to create custom shaders Vray
Prepare 3D files for automotive that contain complex and large data sets
Soft Modeling skills
Experience in large data sets, great organisation skills
