I'm currently the only full time nuke compositor NOT working on the car configurator. I also dabble in 3D when its needed.
I feel a huge sense of creative ownership over the projects I work on, which is a real thrill. It allows me to put my own stamp on things and make them look how I want them too look (with some creative direction and guidance of-course.)
Receiving a huge batch of renders from the 3D software that look great but have the potential to look so much better in so many ways. Improvements are made by getting funky with the passes and really mixing things up, in a clean and efficient way.
There have been numerous projects throughout my first year of being here that tickled my fancy but nothing in particular I can pin point. The project I am working on right now is in an underwater environment and has proven very enjoyable. Additionally I got involved very early on helping with the 3D modelling and texturing of many assets, so it has been great to see that through, from concept to completion.
The projects are wonderfully varied and so are the SB personalities.
Warm, like a bath at just the right temperature.
Everyone is having a darn lovely time (most of the time) but we all crack on and are supportive when someone is super stressed, which has happened to me on a number of occasions. It's great to know everyone has everyone's back and there is a real sense of professionalism behind the face of fun.
Ask me this any day of the week and it would be the exciting projects, ask me on Friday at 5pm and it'll be beer o'clock.
OLAY Age Defy. I love nice clean CG and want to work on animations of a similar nature. Proper premium CG.
